Robert "Bob" Walton Lowdermilk, Jr

Robert “Bob” Walton Lowdermilk Jr, 68 of Clarksburg passed away August 19, 2018 at United Hospital Center.  He was born April 30, 1950 in Terra Alta, son of the late Robert Walton Lowdermilk Sr, and Mildred Marie Hardesty Lowdermilk.  Bob graduated from Jackson High School, Class of 1969.  He was a Vietnam Veteran serving in the United States Air Force earning the Air Medal (Basic and First Oak Leaf), Air Medal (Second Oak Leaf Cluster) and Distinguished Flying Cross. Bob retired from Alleghany Power at the Haywood Power Station as an Electrician with over thirty four years of service. His hobbies included: snow skiing, water sports, flying in general and with the acrobatic pilots when at the beach, and was a member of the Civil Air Patrol.  He is survived by his wife of forty six years, Barbara "Bobbie" Jean Teets Lowdermilk; one son, Dustin Paul Lowdermilk and wife Michelle, Clarksburg; one granddaughter, Kiersten Marie Lowdermilk; one sister, Patti Felton and husband Grant, Corinth, WV; one niece Kelly Fike and husband Brian, Arthurdale; one nephew, J.R. Felton and wife Heidi, Terra Alta, and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.  Cremation was handled by Davis Funeral Home and Onsite Crematory.  All services will be private.
