Robert "Bob" Atlee Knight

Robert “Bob” Atlee Knight 69 of Clarksburg passed away on Saturday, May 24, 2025 at the Louis A Johnson VA Medical Center.  He was born December 9, 1955 in Clarksburg, son of the late William Knight and Jane Lee Sayre Robinson.

Bob served his country in the United States Navy at the end of the Vietnam War. He worked at Jack’s Friendly for 20 plus years doing furniture repair. He enjoyed wood working, bird watching and antique cars. He loved his animals.

Bob is survived by his partner of 45 years, Edward “Ed” Jon Barrick; one sister Kelley Jane Eddy and Bradley, Salem; niece and nephew, Amy Posey and Scott, Will Hyman and Rosie; great nieces and nephew, Audra, Eleanor and William; one aunt, Sue Ann Poole, Bridgeport; one uncle, Robert Sayre MD and Bobby, Bensheim Hessen, Germany.

In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by one sister, Debra Sue Hyman; one uncle, Joe Jenkins.
