Robert Dale Nicholson

Robert “Bob” Dale Nicholson, 68 of Clarksburg, passed away on Friday, June 21, 2019 at United Hospital center. He was born October 10, 1950 in Clarksburg; the son of the late Herschel Frank and Bernice Helen Short Nicholson.

Robert worked as an electrician for Anchor Hocking, he also was a mechanic for Chenoweth Ford and KSD Diesel.

Robert is survived by his wife, Sharon Linger Nicholson; one son, Robert Dale Nicholson, Jr. and wife Mary Kay of Clarksburg; one brother, Herschel “Frank” Nicholson and wife Roxie of Shinnston; one niece, Megan Perine and husband Ira of West Union; one nephew, Toby Nicholson of West Union.

Bob was a stock car racer for many years. He loved to tinker with cars. He was an avid NASCAR fan. Bob enjoyed spending time at his garage with his son Rob and his brother Frank. He also looked forward to spending time with his family and friends.

Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Dr., Clarksburg, on Wednesday, June 26, 2019 from 4:00pm until the time of the funeral service at 7:00pm with Reverend Robert Marino presiding.
