Rebecca "Becky" Ann (Bennett) Vanhorn

Rebecca “Becky” Ann Bennett Vanhorn, 76, of Lost Creek, entered into eternal rest on Friday, November 3, 2023 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 8, 1947 in Lewis County a daughter of the late Bernard Bennett and Dora Quinn Bennett.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Edgar “Ray” Vanhorn, who passed away on January 28, 2022.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved son, Jeremy Ray Vanhorn; and an infant son, Andrew Morgan Allen, II; her siblings, Barry Lee Bennett, Bruce Lynn Bennett, and William “Bill” Bennett; one nephew, BJ Bennett, and sisters-in-law, Judy Vanhorn, Betty Vanhorn, and Mildred Vanhorn, and Deborah Kniceley.

She was also preceded in death by her brothers-in-law, Bernard Vanhorn; Glenna Harper Williams and Loretta McClain.

Becky is survived by her, two daughters Andrea Ross and husband Charlie of Jane Lew, Tiffany Blair and husband Lucas of Lost Creek; one son, Billy Allen and wife Lisa of Lost Creek; grandchildren, Sidney Goad and husband Chris of Worthington, Josh Ross of Huntington, Camden Shaw, Andrew Allen, both of Lost Creek, Kendal Blair of Lost Creek, Hailie Blair and companion Asan Ahmad of Aliquippa, PA, and great-granddaughter, Lailaa Kendal Ahmad and Lina Alice Ahmad, of Aliquippa, PA; her twin sister, Jeannie McCormick and husband Tom; and one brother, Bernard Bennett, II of Lost Creek.

She was a 1965 graduate of Lost Creek High School. She enjoyed reading and going to yard sales.  The love of her life was her family and she loved taking care of them.

Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Drive, Clarksburg, WV 26301, on Tuesday, November 7, 2023 from 4:00 – 7:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of Davis Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at 11:00AM with Pastor Tim Kelley presiding. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
