Rebecca Lou Murphy born August 30 1953 passed away on Tuesday, October 31, 2023 in Fairmont. She was born on August 30, 1953 in Chillicothe, OH a daughter of the late William ”Bill” Murphy and Sada Murphy

She is survived by one daughter Paula Murphy of Huntington.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one brother William “David” Murphy.

Becky was a long-time resident of Clarksburg and later relocated to Birch River and after the flood of 2016 moved to Richwood West Va. Becky was a big Willie Nelson fan and an avid pet lover. Becky had many special friends Brian and Avis Jones among them as well as her special lifelong friend Jimmy (Bo) Ashcraft
