Raymond Aaron Groves

Raymond Aaron Groves, 76, of Kingwood, passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 in Kingwood.  He was born on November 10, 1948 in West Virginia, a son of the late Charles Aaron Groves and Wanda Bankhead Groves.

He is survived by his children, Wendy, Joereal, Charis, Doria, Raymond, Valerie, Jamie and Briar; and several grandchildren; brothers and sisters, John Groves of Lost Creek, Rebecca Jeney and husband Chris of Clarksburg, Ronnie Groves and wife Felicia of Nicholas County and Sandy Neel and husband Hubert of South Carolina; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his son Marty.

Raymond was a truck driver for many years and he enjoyed being outdoors, especially hunting and fishing.

The family would like to extend a thank you to the Kingwood Healthcare Center and staff members for their excellent care and compassion.
