Randy Alvin Hibbs

Randy Alvin Hibbs, 63, of Mt Clare, WV passed away on Wednesday, November 4, 2020 at his home with his family by his side. He was born on December 12, 1956, the son of the late Charles and Minerva Ruth Walker Hibbs in Clarksburg.

Randy was an avid West Virginia University and Washington Redskins fan. He enjoyed camping and traveling. Randy also was a member of the A.B.A.T.E. Motorcycle Club. Randy attended WI High School in Clarksburg. He had previously been employed by the Exponent Telegram in newspaper delivery and at AVIS car rentals. Eventually, Randy began working at KCI Airline as a mechanic, where he retired after thirty-five years. Randy fell in love with Michelle Renee Rollins, and they married on October 5, 2002 and have been happily married ever since. Randy also loved spending time with his family and raising his fur babies.

In addition to his wife, Michelle Renee Hibbs, Randy is survived by two step children, Joshua “Josh” Searfass and Dionna, Mineral Wells, WV, and Matthew “Matt” Searfass and Melissa Almodovar, Bethlehem, PA; one brother, Charles “Steve” Hibbs and Darla, Clarksburg; seven grandchildren, Victoria Benner and Tyler, Imagyn, Sequoia, Elizabeth, Jacob, Jayden Searfass; nieces, Natasha White of Clarksburg, who also acted as a caregiver to Randy, and Cheyenne Newell, Clarksburg, Trisha, Tiffany, and Tabitha; nephews, Michael Newell, Robbie, Michael, Shawn, Hunter, and Corey; several great nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law, Debby Fraraccio and Butch, Rowlett, Texas, and Cheryl Hartman and Tom, Pennsboro, WV; one brother-in-law, David Rollins, Clarksburg; and fur babies, Izzy Belle, Chessie, Harley, and YoYo.  

In addition to his parents, Randy was preceded in death by his beloved grandmother, Hallie Hibbs; one uncle, Joe Hibbs; and one sister-in-law, Betty Carpenter Hibbs.

Family and friends will be received at Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Dr/Rt 98, Clarksburg-with proper distancing and face masks, on Saturday, November 7, 2020 from 1:00 PM until the time for the funeral service at 7:00 PM with Pastor Frank Shipley officiating.
