Randy L. Blake, 58, of Clarksburg, passed away on Thursday, August 7, 2025 in Morgantown. He was born on January 8, 1967 in Cleveland, Ohio, a son of the late Jackie Sears and his stepfather, Ed McGlaughlin.
He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Barbara Anderson Blake whom he married on February 13, 1999. He is also survived by his stepson, Josh Anderson of Clarksburg; siblings, James Blake, Michael Blake and Andria McCollough.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by three siblings, Eddie Blake, George Blake and Joyce Thompson.
Randy was a hardworking and good-natured man and most recently was employed with KBR Construction. Over the years, he also worked with the Gore Building and at United Hospital Center in the maintenance department. No matter where he was, Randy brought a strong work ethic and a can-do attitude. Strong-willed and determined, Randy never asked for help, he just figured things out. He had a love for the outdoors, whether it was hunting, working outside, or staying busy with a project. He had a gift for fixing things and was always tinkering or lending a hand, even if he wouldn’t admit he was helping. More than anything, Randy loved his family. He was always laughing, always smiling, and brought a sense of warmth and humor wherever he went. He will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.
Family will receive friends at the Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Dr. Rt. 98, Clarksburg on Sunday, August 10, 2025 from 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM for a Memorial Gathering. Online condolences can be made at DavisFuneralHomeWV.com. Davis Funeral Home is honored to serve the Blake Family.
