Philip McClain Obituary

Philip Edward McClain, 47, of Clarksburg passed away on October 9, 2020 at his residence. He was born on March 13, 1973 in Clarksburg, the son of James R. McClain of Clarksburg and the late Loretta L Vanhorn McClain.

Philip enjoyed working on vehicles and doing bodywork, building hot rods, hunting, beautiful women, and being outdoors. He graduated from South Harrison High School. Philip later went on to graduate from Nashville Diesel and Paint College in Nashville, TN.

In addition to his father, Philip is survived by one daughter, Tesla E. McClain, Reynoldsville; one grandson, Tobias A. Gallo, Reynoldsville, and one new arrival in March 2021; one brother Wilford Timothy “Tim” McClain and Jill, West Milford; as well as several nieces and nephews; and his ex-wife, Heather McClain Jenkins.

In addition to his mother, Philip was preceded in death by brothers James L. McClain, Mark A. McClain, and Jefferey P. McClain.
