Pauletta Elizabeth Joy (Stuart) Null

Pauletta Elizabeth Joy (Stuart) Null, 63, of Philippi, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at Broaddus Hospital, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and devotion to her family.

Born on September 25, 1962, in Philippi, West Virginia, she was the cherished daughter of Paul Allan Stuart (Vivian) of Philippi and the late Barbara Joy Maynor Stuart.

Pauletta was a woman who naturally stepped into the role of manager—not only in her career, but in every aspect of her life. She worked for many years as a bookkeeper and manager for High Life Lounges, where she was known for her reliability, organization, and steady leadership. Yet her most important role was at home, where she was the heart of her family—keeping everything together with care, humor, and unwavering dedication.

She attended Haven of Hope Worship Center, where her faith was another reflection of her loving and devoted spirit. Above all, Pauletta’s life revolved around her grandchildren. They were her greatest joy, her proudest accomplishment, and the center of her world. Whether she was crafting, traveling with her sister, enjoying simple outings to Goodwill with her father, cheering on her favorite team, the Dallas Cowboys, or attending the Dirty Boots Country Fest, she brought warmth, love, and connection to everything she did.

In addition to her father, she is survived by her loving husband of 19 years, Joseph Robert Null, whom she married in 2006; her son, Joseph Glen Hall of Clarksburg; and her four beloved grandchildren, Austin Strahin, Aubrey Strahin, Colton Hall, and Kathleen Hall, who will forever carry her love with them.

She is also survived by her sisters, Tina Marie Damron (Amos) of Martinsburg and Tammy Jo Clark (Chuck) of Stephens City, Virginia; her son-in-law, Daniel Strahin of Philippi; her step-sister, Kathy Harris of Fairmont; her father-in-law, Joseph Edward Null; one aunt; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her mother, Pauletta was preceded in death by her daughters, Becky Elizabeth Hall and Yvonne Tammy Marie Strahin; her sister, Susan Yvonne Stuart; and her mother-in-law, Maxine Null.

Family and friends will be received at Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Drive, Route 98, Clarksburg, on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and again on Thursday, April 16, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral service at 12:00 noon. Interment will follow at Green Hill Cemetery in Barbour County.
