Pauletta Mae Cox

Pauletta Mae Cox, 64, of Clarksburg, passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2023.  She was born on May 12, 1959 in Clarksburg, a daughter of the late Paul Whitehair and Mable Poundstone Greynolds.

She is survived by her two children, Jacob Cox and James (Adam) Cox both of Clarksburg; two sisters, Ginger Whitehair Sawyer and Ruby Ramsey and her husband Carl; nieces and nephews, Ev Sawyer, Paul Sawyer, Chris Prescott, Carl Ramsey, Jr. and great nieces and nephews, Tre Sawyer, Preston Sawyer, Trystan Sawyer, Nevaeh, Danika, Preslee Prescott and Halle, Bella and Nehemiah Ramsey and close family friend, Angela Blair of Clarksburg.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her niece, Jessica Ramsey.

Pauletta attended Liberty High School and she was a wonderful caregiver to many children and their children in the Clarksburg area.  She was a spiritual woman who loved the Lord and reading her bible.  She also enjoyed watching her Soap Operas.  She was a wonderful daughter, sister and mother and she will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

Davis Funeral Home and Onsite Crematory is handling the services and honored to serve the Cox family. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 27, 2023 at 1:00pm at the Connecting Point Community Church, 401 Fowler Ave., Clarksburg, WV.
