Paul Edward Walker

Paul Edward Walker, 100, of Jane Lew, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at Mansfield Place in Philippi. Born on March 16, 1926, in Bridgeport, West Virginia, he was the cherished son of the late Harry Andrew Walker and Icie Hart Walker.

Paul proudly served his country in the United States Army during World War II. He dedicated 35 years of his life to White and Bailey Glass until its closing, and later continued his work at Fourco Glass, where he eventually retired. A devoted member of VFW Post 573, Paul found joy in woodworking, farming, and gardening, and was a passionate fan of the WVU Mountaineers. Above all, he deeply loved his family and treasured every moment spent with his grandchildren. He will be remembered as a devoted husband, a loving father, and a loyal friend.

He leaves behind his beloved children, Malinda Halim and her husband Yasir of Altoona, Pennsylvania, and David Walker and his wife Amy of Volga, West Virginia. He also leaves his cherished grandchildren, Christopher Walker, Marissa Walker, Alexis Larabee Rogers, Lydia Flickenger, Stephen Chilcote, and Ariell Chilcote, along with his treasured great-granddaughter, Olivia Walker. He is also survived by Jeanna Renzelli, who was like a daughter to him, as well as several nieces and nephews who held a special place in his heart.

In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Betty Merle Walker, who passed on January 6, 2026, and by his siblings: Arnold "Red" Walker, John P. Walker, Theresa Altman, Jimmy Walker, and Janice Walker.

In accordance with Paul’s wishes, he will be cremated. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
