Paul Denzil Currey

Paul Denzil Currey, 72, of Clarksburg, passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2024. He was born on June 15, 1952, in Grafton, WV, son of the late Guy Denzil and Elsie May Martin Currey.

Paul graduated from Grafton High School Class of 1970. He retired from JT Martin Fire & Safety. Paul was an avid NASCAR fan. He also enjoyed feeding wildlife, especially racoons and squirrels.

Paul is survived by his wife of 45 years, Doris Hershman Currey.

In addition to his wife, Paul is survived by two daughters, Paula Dunn and spouse Jackie Dunn of Clarksburg, and Julie Currey and fiancé Cameron Elhazz-Jabbar of Clarksburg; grandchildren, Katlyn Ferrell, Meghan Ferrell, Madison Oldaker, Abigail Currey, and Aydan Oldaker; one great-grandson on the way, Grayson Nicholson; two sisters, Glenda Lipscomb and Rosalee Currey both of Flemington.
