Paul Dewayne Brown

Paul Dewayne Brown, 72, of Falls View, West Virginia, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital. Born on April 22, 1934, in Weston, West Virginia, Paul was the beloved son of the late Raymond and Nellie Settle Brown.

Paul was a hardworking man who never shied away from honest labor. Over the years, he worked in a glass factory, drove dump trucks, and proudly ran his own lawn care business. No matter the job, Paul gave his best. He found his greatest peace outdoors, tending to his lawn with care and pride, finding joy in the simple beauty of nature and the satisfaction of hard work.

Paul leaves behind his cherished children, Jennifer Brown of Charleston and Paul Brown Jr. of Cleveland, Ohio. He was a loving grandfather to Anthony Brown, McKayla Brown, and Haley Simpson, and a devoted great-grandfather to Edward Landis IIII, Elonni, and another precious great-grandchild expected soon. He is also survived by his sisters, Sherril Burnite and her husband Charles of Florida, and his sister Jeannie; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his brothers, Raymond Brown and Darrell Brown, whom he now joins in eternal rest.

Honoring Paul’s wishes, he will be cremated. Though he has left this world, his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him—through shared stories, quiet moments outdoors, and the enduring bonds of family.
