Paul Booth, Jr. Obituary

Paul Eugene Booth, Jr., 91, of Clarksburg, passed on Friday, June 12, 2026, at United Hospital Center.

Paul was born on June 27, 1934, in Wadestown, WV, son of the late Paul Eugene Booth, Sr. and Bertha C Taylor Booth.

Paul graduated from Morgantown High School. After High School Paul went on to serve his country in the United States Army, serving in the Korean War. Was a member of the VFW American Legion. Following his service to our country he was employed as a driver for Wilson Bakery and Tomaro's Bakery. He later joined the staff at United Hospital Center, where he worked as a security guard until his retirement.

Paul enjoyed life's simple pleasures and treasured the time he spent camping, taking trips to the beach, playing bingo, calling bingo games, and gathering with family and friends for cards and dominos. He never met a stranger and had a gift for making people smile. Known for his quick wit and playful personality, Paul was a natural jokester who loved practical jokes and keeping those around him laughing. Ornery in the best sense of the word, he brought joy and humor wherever he went. His laughter, storytelling, and fun-loving spirit will be fondly remembered by all who knew and loved him.

Paul is survived by his son: Timothy Booth and wife Cyndi of Belpre, OH; one step-daughter, Amy Wilson and Frankie, Clarksburg; three grandchildren, Jennifer Booth, Angela Booth, William Booth and Ashley; two great grandchildren, Kayden and Ashton; one brother, Danny L. Booth and wife Barbara of Charlotte, NC; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his first wife, Shirley Alkire Booth; second wife, Katherine Booth; one son, Charles Booth.
