Pattie Jean Moore

Pattie Jean Barnes Moore, 87, peacefully passed away on June 17, 2025 at Sistersville Center. Born in Wilson County, NC on July 26, 1937. She was the daughter of the late Fletcher Lee Barnes and Alma Holland Barnes.

In addition to her parents, Pattie is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Moore; siblings: James “Man” Barnes, Peggy Ferrell, Mary Frances “Sue” Walston, Cathy Davis-Edgerton, and Margie Bass.

Pattie is survived by her daughter, Sharon “Moore” Boisvert and husband Henri of Clarksburg, WV; grandchildren: Brandon Boisvert and wife Tosha, Jamie Murray and Fiancé Brian, and Sarah Boisvert; great-grandchildren: Zachariah Griffon, Bellatrix “Trixie” Carroll, and Iris Boisvert; siblings: Fletcher Lee Barnes, Jr. and wife Carolyn of Laurinburg, SC, and Bettie Ann Shaffer and husband Chris of Sayre, PA; several nieces and nephews.

Patties life was a testament to her unwavering Faith, dedication, and love for her family. She shared her love for others through her service and as a nursery worker and Sunday school teacher in years past. Her faith was the cornerstone of her life and she poured love and wisdom into everyone she met. She took great pride in the small things that made life so wonderful.

Above all, Pattie adored her God and family, and nothing brought her more joy than the time spent with her beloved great-grandchildren, who were the light of her life. Her legacy will live in in the money lives she touched with her kindness, strength, and love.
