Patricia "Patty" Ann (Woofter) Price

Patricia “Patty” Ann Price, 72, of Mt Clare passed away on Monday, November 1, 2021 at United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, WV. She was born on June 23, 1949 in Clarksburg, WV the daughter of the late Guy and Margaurite “Midge” Willis Woofter.

Patty graduated from Washington Irving High School and took CNA classes. She worked in the business office at United Hospital Center for many years.  She enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing with her husband.

Patty is survived by her husband of forty-four years, John “Whitey” Gary Price whom she married on September 26, 1977; two sisters, Sharon Ferrell, Orlando, FL, Michelle Bowers, Clarksburg; brother-in-law, Jimmy Gray, Clarksburg; nieces, Ellie, Jenny, Elizabeth, and Carla; nephew, Dillion; great nieces and nephews, Emma, Noah, and Ava; several additional nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.    

In addition to her parents, Patty was preceded in death by two siblings, Becky Gray and Linda Linville and husband, Robert “Bob” Linville; and brother-in-law, Fred Ferrell.

Family will receive friends for visitation at Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Drive Clarksburg, WV 26301, on Thursday, November 4, 2021 from 3-7:00PM. Funeral Service will be Friday, November 5, 2021 at 11:30AM with Reverend Sherman Goodwin officiating. Interment will follow at the WV National Cemetery.
