Patricia (Paro) Ottmar

Patricia Ottmar, 79, of Rivesville, passed away on Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at her residence, after a battle with cancer. She was born on September 20, 1946, in Spokane, WA, she was the daughter of the late Leon and Ena Hipperson Paro.

Patricia lived an outgoing, adventurous life. Her and her loving husband Howard made a loving home for them and their 5 children in multiple states which included Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Arizona and Utah, by any means necessary. Patricia ended her life’s journey in WV where she lived with her daughter Debi and husband Mike Myers who cared for her for 5 years till her passing.

Patricia’s favorite pastime was playing cards, specifically Books and Runs, and did Not take kindly to loosing. And she loved cats, as you can see in her wide collection of anything Kitty related.

Patricia’s greatest joy was her family, who will forever hold her memory close. She is lovingly survived by her children: Greg (Tammy) Ottmar of Bend, OR, Deborah (Mike) Myers of Rivesville, WV, Tami (Wayne) Griebel of Morristown, AZ, Shawn Ottmar of Bend, OR,

In addition to her parents, Patricia is preceded in death by:  Her Husband Howard, Daughter Tonya, Granddaughters Jessica and Tia, brother Eddy, and sister Barbara. And her son Shawns fiancée Maria.

Per Patricia’s wishes, she will be cremated.
