Pamela "Pam" Zoe (Wolford) Smarr

Pamela “Pam” Zoe (Wolford) Smarr, 72, of Clarksburg passed away at United Hospital Center on, Saturday, October 26, 2024. She was born on March 24, 1952 in Clarksburg, WV, daughter of the late John Daniel and Jean Katheryn (Carson) Wolford.

Pam was a graduate of Victory High School, class of 1970 and graduate of Glenville State College, class of 1974. She retired from the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources as a Regional Trainer. She loved to read, crochet, play games on her tablet, scrap booking, listen to music and dance. Pam enjoyed watching murder documentaries and learning about her family history through genealogy. In her younger years she would write poetry. Pam enjoyed taking road trips with her husband regularly to enjoy the beautiful scenery of her state.

Pam is survived by her husband of 50 years, Roscoe Lee Smarr, whom she married on September 28, 1974; one daughter, Tara Smarr and significant other William Blake of Good Hope; one son, Bill Smarr and wife Lori of Bridgeport; one grandson Hunter Connolly of Clarksburg; one sister, Michal Cottrill and husband Dewaine of Cosby, TN; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Pam is preceded in death by four siblings, Tom Wolford, Herb Wolford, Ailene Gibson, and Karen Lafferty.

Per Pam’s wishes she will be cremated and no services to be held.
