Pamela Vickie Ice, 59, of Shinnston, passed away on Sunday, June 15, 2025 in Pittsburgh. She was born in Scotland on October 6, 1965 a daughter of the late Albert Donald Ice and Bridget McCarrol McArthur.
She is survived by her son, Andrew Lee Wilson of Shinnston; siblings, Brian Ice and wife Kimberly of Buckhannon, Stephen Ice and wife Rebecca of Lumberport, Daniel Ice of Philippi and William Ice and wife Laura of Danville, VA; one grandson, David Gregory.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her son, David Luther Wilson.
Pamela was a graduate of Lincoln High School, class of 1983 and she worked for Monongahela Power, where she was a dispatcher to linemen. She was a vibrant soul with a passion for hard rock music, a fearless spirit, and a heart full of love. Known for her quick wit, infectious laugh, and deep devotion to family, she lived life boldly and on her own terms. She was fun-loving and daring — someone who never missed a good concert. But beyond her love for music and adventure, she was deeply intelligent, caring, and generous with her time and heart. Perhaps nothing brought her more joy than her role as a grandmother. She was utterly devoted to her beloved grandson, David Gregory, with whom she shared an unbreakable bond and endless love. She leaves behind a legacy of laughter, courage, and deep compassion. Her memory will live on in the stories shared, the music played, and the lives she touched.
In keeping with her wishes, she will be cremated. And, a celebration of life will be held at a later date by the family. Online condolences may be sent to www.DavisFuneralHomeWV.com. Davis Funeral Home is honored to assist the Ice family.
