Pamela Sue Bennett

Pamela Sue Bennett, 71, of Lost Creek passed away on Monday, September 22, 2025 at United Hospital Center. She was born September 2, 1954 in Clarksburg, WV, daughter of the late Janice Lee (James) Bennett and her father Lonnie Bennett and his wife Andrea of Lost Creek.

Pamela is preceded in death by her husband, William “Billy” Bennett.

Pamela graduated from South Harrison High School with the Class of 1972. Over the years, she dedicated more than 15 years doing real estate appraisals, and she also served her community through her work with the United States Postal Service. Pamela had a heart full of passions, she found peace in tending to her garden, excitement in playing BINGO, joy in crafting, and comfort in watching her favorite westerns. Yet, above all, her greatest happiness came from the precious moments she shared with her beloved grandchildren and her sweet great-granddaughter, who were truly the light of her life.

Pamela is survived by her two children, William C Bennett and Loni Renee Bennett Smithson, both of Lost Creek; six grandchildren, Austin Glaspell and wife Kait, Kaden Ryan, Emma Evans, Tristin Bennett, Claire Justice, Jency Ryan, and Evie Bennett; one great granddaughter, June Glaspell; sisters, Karen Wagoner of Lost Creek and Beverly Ash and husband Jeff of Clarksburg; several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date. Interment will follow at 7th Day Baptist Church Cemetery.
