Oscar Thomas Delisle

Oscar Thomas Delisle, 73 of Clarksburg and formerly of Chicago, IL passed away on Saturday, October 31, 2020 at his residence. Oscar was born on March 13, 1942 in Chicago, IL, the son of the late Oscar D and Catherine Sheehan Delisle.

Oscar served his country in the United States Army from 1959-1963. He retired from the Sheet Metal Workers Local 73 in Hillside, IL. His hobbies were riding motorcycles, watching westerns, fishing and being outdoors.   

Oscar is survived by three stepchildren, David Robinson Jr and Dawn, Clarskburg, Mike Robinson and Della, Olivehurst, CA, Brian Robinson, Clarksburg; three step grandchildren, Shawna, Jessica and Brian II; two sons, one daughter, several grandchildren; three siblings, Henry “Hank” Delisle and Linda, Rhinelander, WI; Catherine Deivbcvynski, Katovea, NC; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Oscar was preceded in death by one brother, Joseph Delisle.

A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, November 9, 2020 at 1:00pm at the West Virginia National Cemetery with military honors accorded by the Harrison County Honor Guard and US Army Reserve Honor Guard.
