Norma Marlene (Edgell) Bise, 89, of Lost Creek, was gently called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, January 8, 2026, while residing at Crestview Manor. Born on September 27, 1936, in Clarksburg, Norma was the beloved daughter of the late Troy Gordon Edgell and Ethel Madeline (Lynch) Edgell.
A proud graduate of Victory High School, Norma lived a life rooted deeply in faith, service, and love for others. She worked for many years as an Avon Representative, where her warm spirit and caring heart made lasting friendships wherever she went. Above all, Norma’s life was centered on her unwavering faith in the Lord. A former member of Chapel of Grace, she was a devoted Pentecostal minister who joyfully shared the Word of God with everyone she encountered. Even in her later years, she continued her ministry, offering prayer, encouragement, and testimony within nursing facilities, always pointing others to Christ.
Norma’s greatest calling was her walk with the Lord. Her gentle strength, faithful witness, and compassionate heart left an indelible mark on all who knew her. She lived as an example of God’s love, grace, and mercy.
She is survived by her loving nieces and nephews, who will forever cherish her prayers, wisdom, and devotion.
In addition to her parents, Norma was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jesse A. Bise Jr., who passed on February 16, 2003, and her dear siblings, Lois Pigott and Wayne Edgell.
Family and friends will be received at Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Drive, Route 98, Clarksburg, on Sunday, January 11, 2026, from 12:00 Noon until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 PM, with Reverend Troy Ware officiating. Interment will follow at Wallace Lions Club Cemetery.
