Michael Lynn Parker

Michael Lynn Parker, 66 of Clarksburg passed away on Tuesday, September 08, 2020 at his residence.  He was born on Sept 18, 1953 in Mannington, son of the late George Wilbert Parker Sr. and Doris Jean Hoopengardner Parker. Jack graduated from Mannington High School. He served in the US Navy. Michael hobbies was collecting coins, spending time with his friends and family, fishing, and driving around in his Dodge Truck. His was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Washington Redskins fan. He is survived by two daughters, Brittany Murray, Reyoldsville, Roxanne Parker, Fairmont; four grandchildren, Elsworth Jones, Rylan Cottrill, Cassie Murray and Kaylee Cottrill; four sisters, Susan Rebecca Parker of Clarksburg; Mary Kathleen Cummings of Fairmont; Sally Ann Smith of Salem; and Beatrice Ruth Parker of Clarksburg; one brother, George Wilbert Parker, Jr., of Clarksburg; several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one grandchild, Jamie Murray; one sister, Barbara Irene Parker; one brother, Richard Allen Parker. A Graveside service will be held on Monday, September 14, 2020 at 2:00PM at WV National Cemetery where full military honors will be accorded by the Harrison County Honor Guard and US Navy Honor Guard.
