Michael P Moran, Jr.

Michael Patrick Moran, Jr., 33, of Clarksburg and formerly of California, passed away at his home on Tuesday, November 4, 2025.  He was born on November 18, 1991 in San Diego, CA a son of Michael Patrick Moran, Sr. of Clarksburg and the late Sharon Lynne Devan Moran.

He is survived by one sister, Felicia Marie Moran-Miller and husband Sawyer of Missouri; great Aunt Hannah Gardner; aunts, uncles and cousins too numerous to mention.

Michael was a proud graduate of Paloma Valley High School, Class of 2010, and went on to earn two Associate Degrees. Throughout his career, he worked in the food service industry in both California and West Virginia, as well as at Sharpe’s Hospital.  Michael cherished spending time with his family and had a great love for movies, especially comedies and video games. He was known for his kind heart, loving spirit, and caring nature. Those who knew him will remember his thoughtful personality and his gift for analytical thinking.  Michael will be deeply missed by all who loved him.

UPDATE

A Funeral Mass will be held at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, December 20, 2025 at 11:00 AM with Father Paul Hudock as Celebrant.  A Celebration of Life will be held in the Spring of 2026 for Michael, Jr., as well as Donald Edward Moran, Jr., and Jeffrey Lee Moran.
