Michael Terrence Hughes

Michael Terrence Hughes (age 60) of Tazewell Virginia gained his heavenly wings on November. 13, 2023.  Michael was born December.3, 1962 in Tazewell Va a son of the late James E and Mary S Hughes. 

Michael was an IT specialist for over 25 years. He loved music and was an amazing musician. Everyone loved to hear him play his guitar. 

Michael was a caring and gentle soul who never met a stranger and wanted everyone to feel seen and heard by him. He found his greatest joy with his family and loved his grandchildren so deeply. 

He was preceded in death by  his sister Susan Adair Powell, brothers James Patrick Hughes and David Lee Hughes. 

Left to cherish his memory is his wife Tammy Hughes, his children James Hughes and wife Ashley. Rhiannon, Gabrielle, Bobby VanDyke and fiancée Courtney, Christina Jaynes and fiancée Shawn, Samantha Meadows and husband Jason, Amber Gleason and husband Hunter, Hannah Carderelli and fiancée Andrew.

He leaves behind many nieces and nephews as well as grandchildren that he adored. Laylah, Aryanna, Scarlett, Marijayne (MJ), Colton, Hunter, Ella, Bradley, Jacob and Lydia. 

To have known him was a blessing. To be loved by him was truly a treasured gift.
