Michael Wayne Hart

Michael Wayne Hart, 70, of Clarksburg, passed away on Sunday, September 17, 2023 in Bridgeport.  He was born in Clarksburg on January 5, 1953, a son of the late Paul Hart and Kathleen Scheuvront Hart.

He is survived by his companion Sharon Dilsworth and also his former spouse Lenny Garrett.

He is also survived by his daughter Misty Hart; step children, Richard Rinehart and wife Ladonna, Kevin Rinehart and wife Karla, Donetta Knotts and Terry, Connie Rinehart, and Dixie Wright and husband David Lee; three grandchildren Tyler Vincent Hart, Tre Xzavier Hart and Michaela Hart Hitchens ; step grandchildren, Alicia Rinehart, Jakob Rinehart and wife Lexie, Dusti Heavener and husband Jason, Kayla Rinehart, Luke Rinehart, Dominik Wright, Christopher Rinehart, Kyla Knotts and Terry “porky” Knotts; four great grandchildren, Rosalia Hart Jamie, Kennedy Hitchens, John Morgan Hitchens and Theodora Hitchens; one great granddaughter, Audrina Heavener; brothers and sisters, Raymond Scheuvront and wife Sarah, David Hart, Peter Hart, Judith Hart and husband Barry, Carol Childers and husband Kevin, and Janet Barger and husband Denny;; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his longtime companion of many years Karen Rinehart, one son, Michael Hart II; and two brothers, Franklin Hart, and Dana Hart; one sister, Dottie Golden.

Michael was a 1971 graduate of South Harrison High School and he was an auto mechanic for many years at Harry Green Chevrolet.  He was also employed by Best Bright, as well as working on appliances.  He was a Jack-of-all-trades who could fix anything.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing, especially going trout fishing in the wintertime.  He enjoyed watching wrestling and he will be remembered as a jokester who could make any bad situation you were going through better.  His kind hearted and giving nature will be missed.

Family and friends will be received at the Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Drive, Route 98, Clarksburg on Friday, September 22, 2023 from 10-AM -12:00 Noon.
