Obituary

Melvin Earl Johnson, Jr., 77, of Clarksburg passed away at the VA Hospital in Clarksburg on Saturday, November 19, 2022. He was born May 31, 1945 in Butte, Montana son of late Melvin Earl Johnson Sr and Esta Meryle Thompson.

Melvin was an owner and operator of a lawn care business in Maryland.

Melvin is survived by three daughters; Kathy, Kim and Kelly Johnson; one brother, Robert Johnson; three nephews; Jeff Johnson, Robert Johnson II, and David Johnson.

In addition to his parents, Melvin is preceded in death by his sister Sharon.

Family will receive friends at WV National Cemetery, 42 Veterans Memorial Ln, Grafton, WV 26354 on Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at 1:00pm with honor guard and military honors.
