Melissa Elaine Connolly Mick

Melissa Elaine Connolly Mick, 56, of Clarksburg, passed away on Sunday, October 26, 2025.  She was born on June 4, 1969, in Clarksburg, WV, a daughter of the late Elaine Faith Murphy Ginier.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 11 years Timothy “Tim” Jay Mick, whom she married on August 30, 2014; three children, April Fullwood and companion Tom Jackson, Christina Delaney and husband Daniel, Shawn Siders; eleven grandchildren; Cage McIe, Kavaya Delaney, Gabriel Cozad, Julian Swiger, Adrianna Delaney, Coley Cozad, Harmoni Delaney, Joseph Swiger, Jr., Melina Cozad, Daniel Delaney, and Railynn Delaney; one great grandchild on the way; siblings, Jason Ginier, Gary Connolly and wife Robin, Joey Connolly and wife Mandy, and Robecca Phillips and husband Dave; numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her mother, she was also preceded in death by her granddaughter, Layla Swiger; her uncle Jack Murphy and her cousin Butch Connolly, Jr.

Melissa was a one-of-a-kind spirit truly outgoing, unique, determined, and delightfully ornery. She brought laughter and energy wherever she went. She enjoyed the thrill of Pokémon Go, loved collecting treasures and finding bargains while thrift shopping, and was known for her unapologetically strong relationship with coffee.  Melissa lived life on her own terms, full of personality and heart, leaving behind memories that will continue to bring smiles to all who knew and loved her.
