Melanie Quickle

Melanie (Whitehair) Quickle, age 56 of Clarksburg, WV passed unexpectedly on March 16, 2018 at her home. She was born May 27, 1962; the daughter of the late Paul and Rosetta Whitehair of Clarksburg, WV.  Paul was the president of Anchor Hocking.

She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Jeffrey “Topper” Quickle who loved her dearly; two daughters, Natasha (Quickle) Thompson & her fiancé, CD Collins of Clarksburg, WV and Veronica (Quickle) Swiger & her husband, Tim of Clarksburg, WV. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, Steven A. Thompson, Hunter D. Thompson, Hannah N. Collins, Kiaira K. , Kamrin K. , Klo , Kalub, Kamriella, Konner K., all of Clarksburg, WV; four sisters, Paula Herbert &her husband JR, Paulette & her husband, Butch of Fairmont, WV , and Sonja Whitehair and Pam Kain; baby brother, Paul Whitehair & companion, Natalie of Clarksburg, WV; two sister in laws, Yvonne & Ronda; three brother in-law, Rick Quickle, Dave Quickle & his wife, Sandra, Jeffrey Copper; Father in Law, David Quickle & his wife, Susan of Winchester VA; several nieces and nephews.

She was a very loving, caring and beautiful woman, soul and all. She had many close friends, her ex-son in law, John Oliverio, Steve Thompson, Joel Fiddler, Donnie Star, Mike Dent, George Eddy, Tim McClain, and KK.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Betty Persley; and her loving pet, Rocky Balboa Quickle.

Melanie enjoyed quality time with her loving family and friends. She loved taking long rides while listening to her favorite heavy metal music. She also enjoyed watching NASCAR, dirt bike racing and hitting the hills for some old school “muddin”. We will always miss and love you forever mommy, you will never be forgotten, we love you "MAMA MEL”.

Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Dr., Clarksburg, on Sunday, March 25, 2018 from 3:00 – 6:00 pm.
