Mary Lou Webb, 86, of Quiet Dell, passed away on Sunday, October 5, 2025 in Bridgeport.  She was born on July 14, 1939 in Bristol, a daughter of the late Jesse Clifford Day and Blanche Edgell Day.

She was preceded in death by her husband Arlis Webb who passed away on November 19, 2020.

She is survived by three children, Terri Boyer and husband Ronald “Bub” of Stonewood, Steven Webb and wife Sharree of Quiet Dell, and Lisa Ables and husband Steven of Stonewood; six grandchildren, Craig Boyer, Samantha Edwards, Scott Stevens, Allen Starr, Adam Starr, Mercedes Ables; five great grandchildren, Alexa Boyer, Ronald “Tanner” Boyer, Dawson Boyer, Logan Linton and Airis Edwards; her twin sister, Martha Dennison; and her two cats, Sammie and Smokey.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by three grandchildren, Amanda Linton, Amber Scott and Austin Ables.

Mary was a graduate of Bristol High School and went on to attend Fairmont State University. She spent many dedicated years working for Dominion Hope Gas in the Royalties Department, where her intelligence and attention to detail were admired by all who worked with her. After her retirement, she continued to share her knowledge and love for numbers as a consultant with H&R Block.

Mary had a zest for life and a kind, generous spirit. She enjoyed camping and the simple pleasures of spending time outdoors. She also loved the excitement of online auctions and found true joy in helping others with their taxes which was a task she genuinely loved.  A faithful member of Quiet Dell United Methodist Church, Mary’s faith guided her life and the way she cared for others. She was smart, generous, caring, and giving and always ready to lend a hand or offer a word of encouragement. Those who knew her will remember her compassion, her laughter, and the light she brought to every life she touched.
