She was preceded in death by her son, Donnie Lake and her siblings, Lois “June” Clevenger, Davis Lake, Beatrice Lake, Earl Lake and Peg Palmer.
She is survived by her two granddaughters, Nicole Nardella and husband Nathan of Bridgeport and Natalie Lake of Bridgeport; nine grandchildren, Troy Lowther, Ashton Nardella, Gracie Nardella, Jackson Nardella, Lillie Nardella, Caden Leonette, Laken Neonette, August Leonette and Franco Leonette; and one very special great niece who was like a daughter to her, Cheryl Cook and husband Doug of Shinnston.
She attended Victory High School and worked at Anchor Hocking with 18 years of service. Mary will be remembered as someone who truly embraced life and all of its joys. She enjoyed shopping, reading, and surrounding herself with the finer things that brought her happiness. She was a true princess at heart, carrying herself with style and grace. With a personality as sassy as it was vibrant, Mary lit up every room she entered. She was spirited and ornery in the best of ways, always ready with a quick wit and a great sense of humor that kept those around her laughing. Her warmth, energy, and unmistakable charm will forever be cherished by her family and friends.
A private ceremony will be held at a later date by the family. Online condolences can be made at DavisFuneralHomeWV.com. Davis Funeral Home is honored to serve the Lake Family.
