Mary Marg Fahey-Robey

Mary Marg Fahey-Robey, 83, of Clarksburg, passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at home with her family by her side.  She was born on October 17, 1941 in Clarksburg, a daughter of the late Edward and Ruth Blackshire Fahey.

Mary Marg graduate from Notre Dame High School Class of 1959 and attended West Virginia University. During that time, she met the love of her life, Ronald B. Robey. They were married on April 25, 1962 and relocated to Shaw Air Force Base in Sumpter SC. After returning back to WV, Mary Marg became involved in politics and held a couple of political offices. Her and Ronnie attended the inaugural ball for Governor Jay Rockefeller and was invited to the White House for a ball. Mary Marg also served on the Miss West Virginia pageant board and would travel to Atlantic City for the Miss America pageant. She loved to watch the Golden Girls and spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Mary Marg is survived by her three daughters who were the light of her eyes, Lorri Robey of Clarksburg, Traci Bailey and spouse Bobby of Jane Lew, Jennifer Robey of Clarksburg, and her adoptive son, Robert Paugh of Clarksburg; grandchildren, Matthew Robey and spouse Jenna, Brittney Petry and spouse James, and Alex Cain and spouse Zoe; great-grandchildren, MaKenna, Dominic, Emily, Nevaeh, Paige, and JJ; sister, Melissa Hamrick and spouse Al of Columbus, OH; sister in law, Marylin K Allen and spouse William; her best friend since grade school, Barbara “Bobbie” Warner.

In addition to her parents, Mary Marg is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald B. Robey on December 28, 1986; one grandson, Ronald Anthony Fazzini on July 3, 2020.

The family would like to thank WVU Hospice for all their work and dedication. Also, a special thank you to Susan from the Senior Citizens Center.

Family and friends are invited to gather for a visitation at Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Drive, Clarksburg, on Sunday, November 24th, from 12:00 PM until time of service at 3:00 PM with Pastor Doug Sands officiating.
