Martin Eugene DuPont

Martin Eugene DuPont, of Belington, WV, passed away Sunday, January 29, 2023, at the age of 62, formerly of Stanhope, NJ and Easton, PA. He is survived by his son, Daniel (Brigitte Nadeau) and daughter, Genevieve DuPont (Henry Turcios), and grandchildren Hunter and Grant DuPont; his siblings, Michele Parkins (DuPont), Annemarie, Nancy, Joan, Barry, and Greg; and beloved uncle and great-uncle to numerous children. He was predeceased by his parents William and Kathleen (O’Leary) DuPont and brother, Anthony.

After helping to grow his father’s business, DuPont Graphic Arts, in North Jersey, he relocated to Easton, PA until his retirement in 2019, when he relocated to West Virginia.

Martin, an avid sportsman, enjoyed hunting and fishing and was happiest in a rural setting surrounded by the mountains and the river.

He will be remembered by all his siblings and nieces and nephews for organizing what became an annual family reunion held every Labor Day weekend with a rafting trip down his beloved Delaware river and a barbeque at his home in the hills of Easton, PA.
