Marlin “Marty” Ray Frazier, 72, of Clarksburg passed away on Thursday, May 15, 2025 at his sisters’ home. He was born on October 6, 1952 in Clarksburg, a son of the late James Frazier and Frances Longenette Frazier.
He is survived by his sister, Angela Stehr and husband Charles; sister-in-law, Ruth Frazier; nieces and nephews, Shawna Frazier Davis and husband Phil, Jason James Frazier and wife Ashley, Marlin David Frazier and wife Jessica, Tammy Kent and Teresa Love, Lucas, Megan and Kayden Stehr, Allie Eakle and husband Aaron, Carol Woodruff and AJ Reed; and several great nieces and great nephews; and his many friends that he enjoyed spending his time with.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one brother, Steve Frazier and two sisters, Linda Kent and infant sister, Rita Sue Frazier.
Marty was employed with Grogg’s Transmission until he opened his own business, Marty’s Auto Body Repair. He enjoyed tinkering with cars in the garage, listening to music, dirt track racing and driving around with his dog “Rebel.” Marty also attended Upper Room Church occasionally. Marty made many friends over his lifetime and he enjoyed their companionship.

Family will receive friends at the Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Dr. Rt. 98, Clarksburg on Monday, May 19, 2025 from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Mike Flannery presiding. Interment will follow in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
