Marilyn M. Huff, 81, of Bridgeport, passed away on Thursday, November 21, 2024 at Country Living Nursing Facility with her family by her side. She was born on September 21, 1943 in Gilmer County at home, she is the daughter of the late Luther Marshall Adams and Sylvia (Osborn) Adams.
Marilyn graduate from Bridgeport High School and worked at the F.B.I for 16 years. She spent most of her time enjoying the company of her grandchild Riley. In earlier years she was a youth leader at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church in Anmoore. Marilyn had a very giving spirit, and loved to help people.
Marilyn is survived by her two children, Shannon Huff and wife Carissa, of Bridgeport and Cassandra Huff of Glenville; one cherished grandchild Riley Huff; and one sister Virginia Raikes of Shinnston and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Marilyn is preceded in death her three brothers, Edward Adams, Jim Adams and Homer Adams and three sisters, JoAnn Branson, Jackie McCray and Jhoni Shreeve.
A Celebration of Marilyn's Life will be held on Friday, December 6, 2024 at the Bible Baptist Temple located at 9436 Cost Ave, Stonewood, WV 26301 from 10:30am until the time of the service at 11:00am with Pastor Charles Madaus officiating. All guests are invited for a meal after the service and are encouraged to share and enjoy their memories with Marilyn.
