Madeline "Matt" Grace (Deem) Williams

Madeline “Matt” Grace Deem Williams, 64 of Clarksburg passed away on Sunday, January 10, 2021 at her residence with family by her side. She was born March 30, 1956 in Clarksburg, daughter of the late Homer and Violet Lamp Deem.

Matt had worked at the Oliverio Plant, Broom Factory and Mop Shop. She enjoyed playing dice and loved spending time with her family.  

Matt is survived by five children, Melissa Chandler and Richard, Jane Lew, Michelle Williams and Robin, Stonewood, Marty Williams and Loretta Cavalier, Stonewood, Jerry Williams, Mount Clare, and Robin Goodman Williams, Stonewood; several grandchildren, and great grandchildren; two brothers, Homer W Deem Jr and Delta, Stonewood, Russell Deem and Joyce, Wyatt; six sisters, Barbara Claypool, Stonewood, Carolyn Claypool and Dorsey, Stonewood, Flora Drain, Stonewood,  Robin Cross and Kevin Stonewood, Kathy Lamb, Belington, Alta Skidmore and Steve, Mount Clare; numerous nieces and nephews.   

In addition to her parents, Dink Matt was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Ray Williams on March 7, 2000; one daughter, Carolyn Christine Chandler; one sister, Arzanna Gay Bell.

Family and friends will be received at Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Dr./Rt. 98, Clarksburg on Friday, January 15, 2020 from 12 Noon-2PM with proper distancing and face mask required. A Private Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
