Lucille Ellen (Maxwell) Stutler

Lucille Ellen Stutler, 70, of Lost Creek, passed away on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 in Lost Creek.  She was born on November 30, 1952 in Lost Creek, a daughter of the late James Edward Lawson Maxwell and Catherine Ruth Cutright Maxwell.

She was also preceded in death by her husband Alva Arthur Stutler, Jr. who passed away on February 1, 2013.  They were united in marriage on March 9, 1971.

She is survived by two children, Ruth Ann Tinnel and her husband Randy of Lost Creek and William Joseph Stutler also of Lost Creek; brothers, Kenneth Ray Maxwell and wife Patricia, Lost Creek, Robert Lee Maxwell of Lost Creek, Denzil Lee Maxwell of Four States and James Dewight Maxwell of Lost Creek; sister, Linda Sue Alkire and her husband Eugene of Lost Creek; daughter-in-law Felicia A. Stutler of Lost Creek; grandchildren, Jesse James Stutler, Jonathan Isaiah Stutler and Jaden Arthur Stutler all of Lost Creek.

In addition to her parents and husband she was also preceded in death by two sons, Alva Arthur Stutler, III and Ronny Ray Stutler; and one nephew, James Leonard Maxwell.

Lucille enjoyed crafting, especially plastic canvas and working word search puzzles.  She also liked to travel especially the WV State Parks and also spending time with her family.
