Loretta Lynn Pritt

Loretta Lynn Pritt, 50, of Clarksburg, passed away at her home on Monday, October 6, 2025.  She was born on July 17, 1975 in Cumberland, MD, a daughter of Harold Beavers and Barbara Settles Beavers of Clarksburg.

She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Earl Pritt, whom she married on May 22, 2003

She is also survived by two daughters, Mercedez Hood and husband Ryan of Clarksburg and Sierra Stanley and husband Tucker of Clarksburg; seven grandchildren, Malachi Hood, Avery Hood, Breahna Hood, Nevaeh Hood, Jayden Hood, Jimothy Stanley and Kordell Hood; two brothers, Christopher Beavers and companion Nicole Stump and Jeremiah Beavers and wife Alisa.

She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Mckenzie Hood.

Loretta had a heart made for caring. She devoted her life to helping others as a Nurse’s Aide in the healthcare field, always offering a gentle touch and a kind smile. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures—crocheting cozy blankets, creating diamond art, and tending to her flowers and garden. Loretta loved music, especially singing and dancing, and she lit up every room she entered with her laughter and warmth. Above all, she treasured her family, who were the center of her world. She will be remembered for her sweet spirit, loving heart, and the joy she brought to everyone who knew her.

Loretta’s wishes for cremation will be honored.  A memorial service will be held at a later date by the family at Glen Falls Baptist Church with Reverend Bryant Bailey officiating with a luncheon to follow the service.  Online condolences can be made at DavisFuneralHomeWV.com.
