Lora Ann Parmer

Lora Ann Parmer, 63, of Clarksburg, passed away on Monday, January 23, 2023 at her residence. She was born in Clarksburg on February 19, 1959, a daughter of the late Kinzy and Thresa Swisher Swiger.

Lora is survived by her two daughters, Amanda Jo Parmer and her husband John Sharek of Wilmington, NC and Danielle Nicholson and her husband Geoffrey of Clarksburg; three siblings,John Jenkins of Wallace, Martha Pratt of Sulphur, LA and William Swiger of Shinnston; along with several nieces and nephews; and her former spouse, Edward Parmer.

In addition to her parents, Lora was preceded in death by her four siblings, Marilyn Kay Swiger, James Swiger, Tim Swiger and Tom Swiger.

Lora graduated from Liberty High School Class of 1977. She served in the Army National Guard for eight years. She was a cook for several years and most recently in the transportation department for the oil and gas industry. She loved to connect with people and share stories. She loved animals and was an avid gardener.
