When he retired, he opened a store, Black Bear Variety. He and his brother, Larry, spent many hours reminiscing on the front porch between customers.

Lonnie is survived by his daughter, Bridgitte Robey and husband Mark of Glenn Falls; six grandchildren: Joshua Robey, Nick (Miranda) Robey, Tabitha Robey, Jamie McCracken, Erica Doll and Brandon Doll; three great-grandchildren: Riley Robey, Kirra Robey, and Indigo Robey; brother, Larry McCracken of Adamston; half-brother, Jerry McCracken of Oak Hill; half-sisters: Penny McCracken and Connie McCracken; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his wife and parents, Lonnie is preceded in death by one son, Lonnie Aaron McCracken.

The family would like to extend a “thank you” to the hospice nurses, Lila and Keara. A special “Thank you” goes to retired nurse Linda Wiseman for her love and support.
