Lisa Ann (Dodd) Stanley

Lisa Ann Stanley, 50, of Clarksburg, passed away on Saturday, May 28, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. Lisa was born on June 18, 1971, in Clarksburg, a daughter of Mary Dodd Springer and the late Steven William Dodd.

Lisa's passions included attending and volunteering at Duff St United Methodist Church, where she served on multiple committees; time and travel with her companion, Dennis Finamore Jr; and being a devoted mother to her son Dustin and to his wife Jolene. Lisa was enthusiastic in her support of family and friends; loved her adopted cat (Ms Priss) and enjoyed pursuing her education. Lisa completed her bachelor's degree at Fairmont State University with honors while employed at WDTV, where she worked in the broadcast traffic department for 23 years. 

In addition to her mother, Mary Dodd Springer, Lisa is survived by her step-father, Edward Springer; her companion, Dennis Finamore Jr; and her son, Dustin Stanley and his wife, Jolene Stanley of Bridgeport. Lisa is also survived by her older sister, Tina Lake and her husband Bobby Lake of Bridgeport; her younger sister Tonya Allen of Clarksburg; her nephews, Zach and Hunter Allen; her niece, Megan Allen; and several loving uncles, aunts and cousins.

In addition to her father, Steven William Dodd, Lisa was preceded in death by her brother, Steven William Dodd II; and her grandparents. 

Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home 124 Olen Thomas Drive, Clarksburg, on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 from 3-7PM and Thursday, June 2, 2022 9:00 AM until time of Funeral Service at 11:00 AM with Pastor Brian Seders officiating. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
