Linda Jane (Hickman) Jenkins

Linda Jane Jenkins, 70, of Clarksburg, passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at the United Hospital Center. She was born March 6, 1950 in Clarksburg, WV; the daughter of the late James Russell and Geraldine Jane Davis Hickman.

Linda is survived by her children, Richard Lee Jenkins and wife Cheryl of Clarksburg, Kimberly Jenkins of Clarksburg, Vicki Littleton and husband Cecil of Clarksburg, Tammy Jenkins-Hardy and husband Robert, Traci Bozarth and husband Mark of Clarksburg; one sister, Beverly Ann Surock of Clarksburg; eleven grandchildren, Samantha, Johnna, Mika, Jessika, Jordan, Kiersten, Lindsay, Cecil, Drake, Victoria, Araya; eleven great grandchildren; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Wilma Gress of Nevada, Shirley Goodwin and James of West Milford, Robert Jenkins and wife Sandra of Sardis, Lee Roy Jenkins of Wilsonburg, Gary Jenkins and companion Judy of Reynoldsville, Donald Jenkins and wife Elaine of Sardis, Barbara Jean Powers and husband Chuck of Wilsonburg, and Sandra Jenkins of Wilsonburg; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husband Edward (Bucky) Lee Jenkins on September 23, 2019; one daughter, Cheryl Diane Jenkins; one brother, James “Bud” Russell Hickman; sister-in-law, Delores Cox; brothers-in-law, James “Jimmy” Surock, David Jenkins, and Jack Gress.

Linda graduated from Victory High School. She had worked as a social worker at the Summit Center in the Crisis Unit for over twenty years. She loved to travel with her husband, spending time with her family and being a jokester. Her hobbies were doing crafts, cooking, and gambling

Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Dr., Clarksburg, on Monday, September 14, 2020 from 3:00 until 7:00 PM. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at Davis Funeral Home at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Cemetery.
