Linda Irene (Swiger) Criss

Linda Irene Criss, 76, of Wallace, WV passed away after her long battle with cancer on Thursday, September 22, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 10, 1946 in Clarksburg, WV, the daughter the late Aubrey L. Swiger Jr (Joe), and Martha Marie Swiger. 

Linda was a loving wife and mother who enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. 

Linda was a woman of God and enjoyed going to church.  Linda also enjoyed cooking, baking, going to flea markets, yard sales, and sitting on the porch watching her chickens. 

Linda is survived by; one daughters, Endris Reed and husband Timothy Salem, one step-son Davis Criss Clarksburg; grandchildren, Amber Riley and fiancé, John Harper, Wallace, Robert Riley and wife, Amanda, Clarksburg; David Wallace, Kelsey Cook, and Trey Criss, all of Clarksburg; great grandchildren, Kane Riley, Clarksburg, and Tristen Reed and boyfriend Leroy Doctorr, and Austin Blaniar, both of Wallace, one great great-grand son Preston Doctorr; as well as additional aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.   

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husband Cecil Criss, one daughter, Esmah Davis; step-daughter Sandra Wallace, two sisters, Yvonne Jackson and Becky Cashdollar.                                                                                                                                                                              

In accordance with Linda’s wishes, she donated her body to the WVU Human Gift Registry in Morgantown.
