Lewis Franklin Hosby

Lewis Franklin Hosby, age 62 of Clarksburg, WV passed away on Monday, February 12, 2018 at his residence. He was born August 8, 1955 in Charlestown, WV.

Lewis is survived by his significate other, Julia Jackson of Clarksburg, WV; three sons, Jason Hosby of Harrisburg, PA, Jeffrey L. Hosby of Silver Spring, MD and Jullian Jackson of Clarksburg, WV; two daughters, Tia Hosby of Harrisburg, PA and Tiffany Hosby of Harrisburg, PA; eleven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; a brother, Larry Hosby of Harrisburg, PA; and a sister, Angelita Hosby of Harrisburg, PA.

Hosby is preceded in death by his mother, Viola (Hosby) Broadnax; a brother, Gary Hosby.

Lewis worked for the Louis A Johnson VA Medical Center in the Maintenance Engineer Department. He was a United States Army Veteran and served during the Vietnam Era.  Lewis was a member of the Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in Harrisburg, PA.

Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Dr., Clarksburg, on Friday, February 16, 2018 from 11:00 am until the time of the service at 2:00 pm with Rev. Ray Shaw, presiding. Interment will take place at a later date in WV National Cemetery.
