Leroy Edgar Harris

Leroy Edgar Harris, 59, of Clarksburg, passed away on Saturday, May 29, 2021, at Salem Center in Salem. He was born on December 16, 1961 in Clarksburg, the son of Joseph Lee Harris Sr and Geneva Harris of Clarksburg.

Leory attended Washington Irving High School.  He loved fishing, hunting, and his favorite teams, the Los Angeles Rams and Boston Celtics. He loved listening to music and watching his westerns. Leroy was an avid WVU Sports fan.

In addition to his parents, Leroy is survived by his children Adam Harris and Shari,   Virginia Beach, VA, Clover Teyssier and Thomas, from Venice, FL; siblings Joseph Lee Harris Jr. and Ronda, Itacha, NY, Louise Marie Turner and Kenneth,  Leavenworth, KS; Christine Veronica Harris, Clarksburg; Jonathan Eric Harris and Danielle; aunts, Genesta Perry, Greensboro, NC, Fannie Hillard of Clarksburg, Ada Brinson, Philadelphia, PA; uncles, James Harris of Akron, OH; seven nieces, three nephews, five great nieces and nine great nephews.

Leroy was preceded in death by one great nephew, and uncle, Roland Brinson.

Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Drive, Clarksburg, WV 26301, on Friday, June 4, 2021 from 3:00PM until time of funeral service at 6:00PM with Reverend Doctor Rahsaan Armand  officiating.
