Lenae Kaye O'Dell

Lenae Kaye O’Dell, 66 of Morgantown passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2020 at the Sundale Nursing Home. She was born twenty minutes before her twin on September 29, 1953 in Bridgeport, the daughter of the late Lester F O’Dell Sr and LaVerne Janice Costilow O’Dell.

Lenae graduated from Bridgeport High School Class of 1971.  She received her associate degree at Pierpont Community and Technical College. She worked in the trust department for Bank One for twenty seven years.  She enjoyed reading, puzzles and all crafts.

Lenae is survived by one son, Shawn William Cockrell and spouse Kris Knowles of Morgantown; two grandchildren, Eliza Caroline Knowles-Cockrell and Audrey Sofia Knowles-Cockrell; five brothers, Fred L. O’Dell & his wife, Belen, Thousand Oaks, CA, Lowell J. O’Dell & his wife, Dorothy, Phoenix, AZ, Lloyd D. O’Dell, Lumberport, LesLee L. O’Dell, Tampa, FL and Leo F. O’Dell & his wife, Christine, Anmoore; three sisters, Lonna J. O’Dell, Bridgeport, her twin, Lynette R. Mize & her husband, Rob, Eagle, ID and Linda L. Trimble & her husband, Paul, Siler City, NC; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, Lenae was preceded in death by one brother, Lester F O’Dell Jr.

Family will receive friends at Davis Funeral Home, 124 Olen Thomas Drive, Clarksburg, on Friday, February 7, 2020 from 4 to 7PM. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Craig Falkenstein officiating. Interment will follow at Bridgeport Cemetery.
