Larry James Rodeheaver, 52, of Rivesville, passed away in Morganton on Thursday, September 4, 2025.  He was born on December 4, 1971 in Oakland, MD a son of James “Potsie” Tusing of Oakland, MD and the late Doris Hardesty Tusing.

Larry dedicated his life to serving others through his work as a police officer, firefighter, and with EMS. His courage, compassion, and steady presence touched countless lives in the community he so proudly protected.  Beyond his service, Larry had many passions. He enjoyed flying drones and had a lifelong fascination with helicopters. He loved tinkering with 4-wheelers and found joy in the outdoors. A true animal lover, Larry had a gentle heart for all creatures.  Known for his caring, giving, and helpful spirit, Larry was always ready to lend a hand. He loved to laugh, bringing smiles and warmth to those around him. Above all, he was his children’s biggest cheerleader, taking pride in every moment of their lives.  Larry will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
