Larry Reese Michaels

Larry Reese Michaels, 75, of Jane Lew, passed away on Thursday, March 27, 2025 with his wife by his side.  He was born on April 12, 1949 in Buckhannon, a son of the late William Michaels and Opal Wiseman Michaels.

He is survived by his wife Emma Jane Tenney Michaels; one son, Kenneth Reese Michaels of Sand Run; and one daughter, Melissa Mae Wamsley of VA; siblings, William Michaels and wife Sue, Charles Henry Michaels and wife Betty, John Iden and his wife, Betty Jean Michaels Claypool and husband Lee and Linda Louise Michaels Brown and husband Larry; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his granddaughter, Hannah Jayne Wamsley; two sisters, Alice May Michaels and Mildred Ann Michaels Miller.

Larry was a self-employed carpenter and he enjoyed being outdoors, especially fishing and doing carpentry work.
