Kelly Jo (Koch) Vaughan

Kelly Jo Koch Vaughan, 60, of Fairmont, passed away on Thursday, August 7, 2025 at the Fairmont Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.  She was born on January 21, 1965 in Fairmont, a daughter of the late John and Frances Koch.

Kelly is survived by her husband of 13 years, Charles J. Vaughan, whom she married on November 11, 2013.

In addition to her husband, Kelly is survived by her brothers: Brian Koch and Kevin Koch, both of AZ.

Kelly had a love for the outdoors and it was clear in the time and care she poured into her landscaping. Her gardens were more than just flowers and plants, they were peaceful, living works of art. She also had a deep passion for design. Whether she was arranging a room or creating something on a screen, she had a gift for bringing ideas to life. Her interest in interior design and graphic design reflected her natural eye for detail and color, always finding harmony in the small things. She had a deep love for animals, especially cats. She was a beautiful blend of strength and compassion, a kind soul with a fierce spirit. Always caring and thoughtful, she put others first without hesitation, offering comfort, support, and a steady presence to those who needed it. Beneath her gentle nature was a strong will and quiet determination; she stood firmly for what she believed in and faced life’s challenges with courage and grace. Her kindness touched many, and her strength inspired even more. To know her was to feel loved, supported, and truly seen.
